Public Safety and Recovery

On March 12th Greater NY’s Recovery Conversation Series brought together three NYC Criminal Justice experts to talk about public safety and recovery.  Karol Mason, President of John Jay College of Criminal Justice, Nick Turner, President of the Vera Institute of Justice and Neil Barsky, founder and chairman of The Marshall Project discussed how New York City should be thinking about investments in public safety as we navigate the aftermath of George Floyd, calls to “defund” the police, and a new mayoral administration.
